I promise a longer journal entry in a few days, but I wanted to share this awesomeness.

Today was a very very very very very good day. I managed a 6 mile hike, with 7 off leash dogs, Billy did WONDERFUL public access training, and spontaneously offered a chained task skill we have been working on.

Seriously the best day I have had in a very long time.

The past few days we have been working on eye contact/attention with Billy. So I've been glued to my clicker and treat bag to capture eye contact in all settings, at all times. Billy totally gets the game! He will sometimes even pick the clicker up and hand it to me so we can play some more ( Read more... )

I finally have Billy to a point where I can concentrate on taking pictures and video while I'm training him. So here's a photo journal of our public access training today. I brought Gypsy along for moral support as Billy shows more confidence with her ( Read more... )
